A Day at Day Camp
9 am: Campers Arrive
Time to start the day!
Each of our campers is ‘matched’ with a counselor who is there to greet them the moment they arrive. Each camper starts the day with a full water bottle before the fun begins!
Bring your swimsuit and sunscreen, too- we’re hitting the waterslide today!
10:30 am: Hands-On Nature
Time to get up close and personal with some of Tennessee’s famous critters- look, but don’t touch!
Coldstream’s rural location provides plenty of unique teaching opportunities on how to recognize and care for God’s creatures.
9:30 am: Chapel
Our staff plan and lead each chapel session under the direction of their directors. Each chapel consists of a teaching time and praise and worship through song!
11:30 am: Lunch
Included in the cost of camp.
If your child has dietary restrictions or allergies, his/her counselor will make sure their special meal is prepared and help them enjoy it safely and without embarrassment.
12: 30 pm: Lake Time
Kayaking, canoeing, a zip line, a fresh water spring… we love the lake!
All of our Day Campers wear life jackets at all times by the water: no exceptions. Lifeguards are on duty.
3:30 pm: Crafts
Time to let our creative side show- and take a break in the air-conditioning!
Our fully-stocked craft barn is the hub for all sorts of artistic endeavors, from tie-dyeing to jewelry making to leather stamping.
2 pm: Water Slide & Canteen
Time to hit the water slide and the snack barn!
Day Campers get to choose one snack and one drink out of their canteen fund (paid at registration).
4:30 pm: Parachute Games
We stay busy while we wait for mom and dad!
Our front lawn is where the majority of outdoor games happen. Soccer goals, a volleyball net, and a playground keep everyone occupied in between activities.
5 pm: Pick-Up
We’ll see you tomorrow for another full day!
Now, time for the staff to take a nap…
