A Day at Elementary Camp

7:15 AM: Morning Bell

Rise & Shine! Time to get ready for the day.

8:00 AM: Breakfast

8:30 AM: Personal Quiet Time

Learning to set aside daily time to spend with God is important, and it starts at a young age. Our staff help set the example by utilizing this time with God, as well.

9:00 AM: Morning Games

Time to burn some energy- inside, on the front lawn, or on the basketball court, we love games!

10 AM: Chapel

Our teaching pastor leads staff and campers through that week’s biblical narrative, and campers also get a chance to worship through music.

11 AM: Hands-On Nature

Time to get up close and personal with some of Tennessee’s famous critters. Look, but don’t touch!

12 PM: Lunch

2:00 PM: Water Games

Let’s keep cool during the hottest part of the day and play a few rounds of sponge dodgeball, slip-and-slide softball, or a just an old-fashioned water balloon fight.

1:00 PM: Crafts

Time to get creative in our craft barn: tie-dying, leather crafting, painting, wood-burning… the list goes on!

We love to see how each camper’s unique personality comes out through their specific crafts.

5:00 PM: Team Games

Campers are split into three teams for Elementary Week to encourage healthy competition and good sportsmanship. Teams win points by winning games, participating in spirit days, and for random acts of kindness spotted by our staff.

6:00 PM: Dinner

8:30 PM: Night Slide

Just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean the fun stops- we break out the inflatables for some fun after dark!

9:30 PM: Devotions & Showers

Each cabin winds down the day with a staff-led devotion, prayer, and time for some Q&A with their counselors.

10:30 PM: Lights Out

See you in the morning!

3:30 PM: Lake Time & Canteen

Time to reapply the sunscreen and head down to the lake. Campers can canoe, kayak, swim, fish, zip line, or explore the freshwater spring that serves as our namesake. Our lifeguards are on duty to make sure everyone stays safe.

Canteen is also open to allow kids to purchase snacks and drinks.

7 PM: Chapel & Worship

Senior staff lead campers in a topical chapel, grounded in that year’s theme. Our worship pastor leads the kids through a time of praising the Lord through song and dance.
